I think so. Maybe subconsciously or not, they are looking for a short fling. I can’t really relate to that, though, because I’ve never been made that way. I’ve always wanted something meaningful and lasting. It’s like trying to relate to someone who says they never want to have kids. Impossible for me. I also think that some of these people start feeling regretful and guilty, and might even put some blame on their extra-marital partner and so when they lose respect for themselves, they lose respect for that person, as well.
